starfish (2018) man i dont even know whats going on here. this girls best friend dies and she goes to her friends old house? restaraunt? and when she wakes up all the people are gone and she finds random tapes with messages from her dead friend and a faceless caller tells her it's like... a message from aliens. sounds sorta horror but the aesthetics are surreal

mermaid in a manhole (1988) a guy finds a mermaid in a manhole, takes her home, she's dying of some pustulous skin infection and he paints her with her various pus colors. probably the least graphically violent of the guinea pig series but idk this is the only one i've seen
enter the void (2009)
cube 1, 2, 3 (1994 2004) the premise for all of them is the same: a handful of people kidnapped and put in a giant cube puzzle/ maze and tested to see if they can get out. lefty social critique, especially in the first. kinda cyberpunk/ dystopia vibes
beyond the black rainbow (2010) again i dont really know whats going on here and its been a minute since i watched it. i remember some guy seemingly keeping a young woman hostage in some weird underground space, she escapes at some point. various fetish themes like leather and slime, maybe latex. idr
